Meet & Meditate
Every human being is born with a natural, unique way of being.
As life unfolds, we often learn to adjust, compare, and protect ourselves.
Slowly, we may drift away from our authenticity,
and a quiet sense of discontent or tiredness can settle in.
Meditation, as we practice it here, is a gentle homecoming.
A moment to soften, to listen inwardly, and to reconnect with your own rhythm.
Meet & Meditate is an open space
to sit together just as you are —
and remember the ease of being yourself.
Meditation at Open Circle is a practical, lived practice—not a performance or a technique to perfect.
The focus is on awakening presence, listening inwardly to sensations, emotions, and thoughts and discovering what nurtures clarity, ease, and authentic living in daily life.
Meet & Meditate is a community-centered space where beginners and experienced practitioners sit together, guided by curiosity rather than rules.
What Meditation Means Here
Meditation at Open Circle is a self-learning practice. Rather than relying on external validation or fixed outcomes, you learn to:
- Connect with your intention for practice and reflect on what draws you to meditation
- Explore different approaches and notice what genuinely supports your well-being
- Recognize your progress through greater clarity, calm, and self-awareness
There is no single “correct” experience.
The practice meets you where you are—and grows with you.

Who is this Space for?
If you are new to meditation
and unsure how to begin, whether you’re practicing correctly, or what meditation is meant to feel like — this space offers gentle guidance, clarity, and reassurance.
If you struggle with meditation
because of physical discomfort, pain, restlessness, emotional intensity, or an overactive mind — we help you understand these experiences and work with them rather than against them.
If you are a regular practitioner
who values shared practice, thoughtful inquiry, and exploring life’s deeper questions in a grounded way — this space offers continuity, depth, and meaningful dialogue.
If you are curious to explore meditation beyond the studio
we also bring the practice outdoors through desert meditations, retreats, and shared journeys.
The Open Circle Map
Awakening Presence → Unveiling Natural Essence
Meditation at Open Circle begins with awakening presence — the capacity to be aware, receptive, and honest with what is happening within.
From this place of presence, we explore different layers of human experience:
Body & Sensations We learn to listen to the body’s signals — noticing ease, tension, discomfort, or vitality — and relate to physical experience as meaningful information rather than something to fix or avoid.
Energy & Emotions With presence, we begin to sense emotional movement and energetic states. We learn how to navigate intensity, restlessness, or dullness with awareness, allowing emotions to become guides rather than obstacles.
Mind & Thoughts We observe how the mind speaks through thoughts, stories, and patterns — not to control or silence it, but to understand its structure and the messages it carries.
Needs & Values By translating bodily sensations, emotions, and thoughts into needs, we gain clarity about what is essential for us. From here, our values naturally reveal themselves — showing how we want to live while meeting those needs.
Unveiling Essence As this process unfolds, something simple and natural becomes clear:
our core essence — authentic, aligned, and unforced.
Life begins to feel less like effort and more like flow.
Clarity replaces confusion.
Authenticity replaces conditioning.
Meditation becomes not a technique to master, but a way of living in closer alignment with who we already are.
What People Experience with Practice
Progress in meditation is not measured by how still you sit.
People often notice:
- greater clarity and self-trust
- less inner conflict
- improved ability to navigate emotions
- more ease in the body
- clearer values and direction
- a growing sense of flow in daily life
These changes are subtle, cumulative, and deeply personal.

About the facilitator
Meet & Meditate is facilitated by Sundar, founder of Open Circle Yoga. His work draws from years of personal practice and teaching, integrating meditation, body awareness, emotional literacy, and values-based living. Rather than offering fixed methods, he guides people to listen inwardly, develop self-leadership, and reconnect with their natural expression in practical, human ways.
