When the Dream Comes True, But You’re Too Busy to Notice

As a university student, I used to walk past a certain hotel and dream of the day I could afford even a single beer there.

Years later, I ended up staying in that very hotel — for a whole month, on a work trip. From morning until late night, I was running non-stop, chasing deadlines.
Then one day it struck me: I didn’t even know where the swimming pool was.
The life I had once dreamed of was right in front of me — but I was too stressed to enjoy it.

That moment hit me hard. What’s the point of chasing life if I can’t enjoy the very things I once longed for?
It became a wake-up call. Stress had stolen the joy from my own dream. And while I was already on a healing journey, this moment gave me the push to go deeper.

I wonder — how many of our dreams are we already living, but too busy to notice?
What dream are you already living — and how can you savor it more today?
